Women Jogging For Better Health

Custom Search

Women jogging inspires familiar phrases like burning calories and mood improvement. However, these are not the only benefits of exercise.

The main reason why jogging is popular with women is its results and improved health. Nevertheless, not many seem to know the importance of this exercise.

Benefits

First off, enjoy the fresh air of the great outdoors. You'll enjoy the crisp morning air filling your lungs. Fresh air and exercise invigorates your cells and increases blood. Avoid jogging in hazy air because it could create respiratory issues.

You'll appreciate the overall effects on your bones and muscles. Over time your body begins to feel stronger. Jogging gets your heart rate up, feeding the muscles with oxygen.

This is a good since you won't feel sluggish and you'll enjoy renewed energy.

Speed

Remember, jogging speed has no standard. Begin at your own pace and increase over time. However, if your goal is to melt away fat, kick it up a notch.

Safety

Women who enjoy jogging face serious safety concerns. If you're an evening jogger, keep these rules in mind:

  • Jog around well-lit areas of your neighborhood;
  • Go over your terrain during the day before. Know the dangers you may encounter (e.g., dogs, loiters);
  • Wear bright, reflective clothes for visibility’s sake;
  • Carry a cell phone, flashlight and some identification;
  • Include a list of emergency numbers and a credit card or money if you become injured and need a ride back home.

Jogging is a terrific exercise. It doesn't take much to begin and results will come quickly with consistency.
