Proper running techniques are important to practice each time you go out for a jog. Being efficient so as not to waste energy, for example, is one good reason that practicing good technique is important to your success.

The proper technique will make your jog more effective and reduce your injuries. There is a lot of discussion about proper running form. It is essential to understand the proper form so that you can derive the most benefit from your jogging exercise.

If you're new to jogging than it's especially important to develop good habits to reduce your chances of injuring yourself. Any injury is bad news for joggers: recovery may take a while, you'll lose motivation and it will bring down your spirits.
