Jogging Trampoline - Jumping Into Fitness
Using a jogging trampoline can keep your jogs interesting. At the very least, you can fit your exercise in the day.A trampoline or rebounder is a convenient way to exercise at home. Sometimes it's not always possible to get to the gym or get out for a jog. As much as we'd like to get our daily exercise because of all of the outstanding benefits, our schedules may prevent us. If you don't have a treadmill either because you don't want to make a substantial purchase or because of lack of space, a trampoline may be just what you need. Setting it up is a snap. And, you can buy rebounders that provide workout DVDs with them. This way, you'll get an effective workout. The DVD can offer different techniques that you might not be aware of. It sounds easy to jump or jog in place. You may think you won't burn many calories or that you won't see weight loss results. You would be incorrect. The trampoline is fun, easy and you will get a workout. There's no question you'll get your heart rate up and break a sweat. I find when I'm using my re-bounder, that adding wrist band weights (only 2 pounds each) and doing arm exercises, gets me huffing and puffing. There's no need to over exert yourself, though. Your body will be challenged from all of the movement particularly if you do it for at least 30 minutes. You can push yourself further by adding ankle weights, but only do this if you feel comfortable with it. You can still get quite a workout without the weights. While a rebounder is a neat form of exercise, if you have trouble with your joints (e.g. knees) you may want to be more careful. A jogging trampoline can be a great alternative to jogging if your schedule is simply too hectic. It's also economical and takes up very little space making it a good choice over a larger piece of exercise equipment.
