Anxiety Attack Got Me Started Jogging

I started jogging about a year ago. I was 250 pounds and not feeling well. One day I was in bed and my heart just started beating faster and I felt like I was going to pass out and die. I was rushed to the hospital to find out that I only had an anxiety attack. Luckily it was not my heart but it was a wake up call to start getting back into shape. This is when I first started jogging. I started out slowly and gradually was able to do it every single day for at least 30 minutes. Some days I jog longer. I have now been jogging for over a year and have lost 55 pounds and am now 195 pounds and in the best shape of my life!
I now feel much better. I have a lot more energy and my health has improved greatly. This type of exercise is good for non-joggers since all you really need to do is get started and start slowly. What keeps me going is thinking about that day I went into the hospital. I will not die from being an overweight person. I jog to be healthy and live as long as I can.
