A Little Bit About Me...

Hello, I'm Elaine Bulawin and this about me article gives you some insight as to why this site was established.

I created Jogging101.com to inspire you! Jogging helped me lose weight.

A lot of weight...but of course, this site isn't all about me.

As a new mom, I gained my fair share of fluff. Actually, 63 pounds to be exact.

Ugh.

That's an unpleasant number to say out loud.

My doctor told me to slow it down not long after my first trimester.

I was eating more than I should...

Even so, I still ate...and ate some more.

Of course, increased pregnancy weight is not without problems. Too much pregnancy weight leads to cesareans, preeclampsia and gestational diabetes.

All the same, I figured I'd deal with the fat after baby's arrival. I was in no mood to do much before then.

My daughter's joyous birth meant getting serious about fat loss. It would have been sweet to lose the pounds weeks later, but that ain't how it happened for me.

If you're reading this, it probably isn't how it happened for you...if you gained weight from childbirth.

I returned to jogging because I'd done it regularly before pregnancy.

It got results for me.

And, it helped me build endurance so I could participate in several running events.

I find jogging enjoyable. It gives me quiet time for thinking without distractions. I like the "me" time, the fresh air and just being outdoors.

Jogging consistently reduces my chances of developing diabetes and high blood pressure. And, thats important to me since I have a family history of both conditions.

I hope you find this website informative. I want to encourage and support your weight loss efforts. Jogging is the safe, natural way to burn calories and reduce fat.

Your consistency and determination to shed weight will get you the results you desire.

To your jogging success!
Elaine
